Bar Chart programme

Prior to the commencement of works on site, your appointed builder must prepare a realistic ‘Bar Chart’ programme (otherwise known as a ‘Gantt Chart’), expressed in week, showing the key construction activities.

This Bar Chart will provide a simple, but effective, visual presentation of the construction sequence of your new home.

The key activities are listed on the left (vertical) axis, with their respective duration, showing commencement and completion dates, shown on the horizontal axis.

Information Required (or Release) Schedule

Your builder should issue an ‘Information Required Schedule’ which is a simple two column document detailing the information required, along with a corresponding date indicating when that information is to be provided to meet the Construction Programme.
